Multi-award-winning actress Keke Palmer finally has clear skin after battling acne.

The 27-year-old took to Twitter to show off her fair skin without makeup.

“The way God helped me bring this skin back together. It’s witchcraft. No Winnie the Pooh makeup, ”says Palmer.

The Akeelah and the bee The star, who has been battling acne for some time, opened up about her skin issues in December of last year.

Speaking to Vogue, she said her acne was a symptom of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Having been diagnosed with a hormonal imbalance, she began working with a doctor who found the right acne treatment for her skin.

At the start of treatment, she encouraged people with the same skin condition not to let it ruin their self-esteem.

“To all of you who are struggling with this, know that you are not alone and are still going crazy *% # * & well!” MY ACNE NEVER STOPPED ME. But we don’t have to accept that. Now I can help KEKE! And I like it so it’s ON.

In April 2021, she again shared pictures of her acne and there appeared to be improvement.

While her method worked for her, she pointed out that it might not work for everyone.

“What works for someone else may not work for you, and that’s okay. So no matter what information I give you try it out if you want to know that the only person who will know if it works is you. Don’t get upset, just say “Hey, is this working for ME?” »And if not, move on to the next one! Don’t give up because even if it doesn’t work, it teaches you to look in another direction. Whatever works for you, look at the ingredients on the back and identify the common thread, ”she said.

Palmer is one of the few celebrities who didn’t hesitate to talk about the condition of the skin. South African singer Lady Zamar also suffered the same fate but eventually got help.
