Know how to take care of your skin from morning to bedtime in the summer

For most of us, our skin is our most precious asset. We do everything we can to protect and care for our skin. Summer is already knocking on our door and some of us may have already selected expensive creams and skincare products, which is perfectly acceptable. But, having a healthy skincare plan is always smart and more effective because hot weather can damage our skin.

Here are some amazing tips you can add to your summer skincare routine for healthy, glowing skin:

Morning care

Cleaning twice is a must
Clammy and oily skin are two things that come to mind when we think of hot summer days. While heat causes the skin to generate excess oil, sweating aggravates it, leading to acne. Lather your face twice a day, in the morning and at night before bed, to avoid many skin problems. This allows your skin to breathe while keeping it hydrated.

Regular exfoliation
Summer skin can suffer from dryness and dullness, making it oily. This is why exfoliating your skin with a scrub is so important. It will not only remove all the dead and dry cells from your pores, but it will also revitalize and keep your skin healthy. Make sure you don’t over-exfoliate your skin.

Stay hydrated
Drink more and more water. Your skin will automatically start feeling so good if you hydrate yourself. If you’re having trouble remembering to drink your water, develop a habit by putting an alert on your phone.

Refreshing tonic

A toner is used to close all the open pores of your skin. During summer, the skin produces a lot of oil, which fills up those open pores and causes the problem of acne. With the help of a good toner, you can avoid this problem. You can choose cucumber or rice water toners.

Use a dual purpose moisturizer
Applying moisturizer and sunscreen separately in the summer can be a bit harsh on the skin. This can lead to acne or congested pores. However, a lightweight moisturizer with an SPF of 40 or higher can be used to keep your skin not only protected but also hydrated without causing damage.

Protect your skin with SPF
When you go outside, make sure your skin is covered with sunscreen. The sun’s rays can damage your skin, as well as long-term effects. Be sure to apply sunscreen to all exposed areas of your body, not just your face.

Night care tips

Clean your skin
Always start by using a cleansing lotion or coconut oil to remove all dirt and makeup from your face. This makes your skin feel clean and clears facial pores. Look for a cleanser with soothing components such as aloe vera, rose water, and green tea.

Use a facial cleanser
Always wash your face with a facial cleanser suitable for your skin to deeply cleanse it without stripping it of its natural oils.

After doing the face wash, don’t forget to use a toner. It will make your face refreshed. This will maintain your skin’s natural PH balance and reduce open pores.

night cream
Compared to a day cream, night creams help renew cells and are more powerful when it comes to infusing hydration. A hydrating night cream will help your skin retain moisture and repair its cells. Look for one with a smooth texture that blends well with your skin.

Under eye cream
Compared to other parts of the face, the skin around the eyes is more sensitive and shows the first signs of injury and premature aging. Dark circles, puffiness, wrinkles and poor blood circulation can all be reduced by using an under eye gel containing energizing nutrients such as pomegranate, almond oil, green tea and many more.
